A Bit About Me

With over 22 years of experience practicing law in East Texas, I have dedicated my career to family, guardianship, and probate matters. I have had the honor of working with families across the region during some of their most challenging times, helping them navigate complex legal issues with compassion and care.

I earned my J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and a B.A. from Boston College. My certifications in mediation and arbitration from Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany), Texas Women’s University, and the Montgomery County Dispute Resolution Center reflect my commitment to resolving disputes through reasoned and effective approaches while providing zealous advocacy for my clients.

Throughout my career, I have represented clients in Anderson, Angelina, Harris, Houston, Leon, Madison, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Walker counties, gaining a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by families in these communities.

My dedication to the community extends beyond my practice. I am a past President of Kalin’s Center, Children’s Advocacy Center, which serves Houston and Trinity counties, and recently, I was honored to receive the Outstanding Pro Bono Attorney Award from Lone Star Legal Aid. Advocacy for families and children has always been at the heart of my work.

I am a member of the State Bar of Texas Family Law and Probate Law Sections, Houston County Bar Association, Woodlands Bar Association Family and Probate Sections, and Montgomery County Bar Association Family and Probate Sections.

I am proud to serve as Of Counsel to Griffith & Griffith, PC, a respected general civil and criminal litigation firm based in Crockett, Houston County, Texas. Established in 1961, Griffith & Griffith, PC is renowned for family, criminal, and probate matters .
